Against the grain

So. Final year of school. My life looks like a pile of journals, books and hastily scribbled notes, and will remain that way for the next six or seven months. I should savour it. Right? I mean all this hardwork, lack of money and a social life (for all of the above reasons) is going to mean I get the job of my dreams. Right?
I sure hope so. A year from now, I'll be able to look back on these few months and say it was all worth it. That's the plan at least.
On the plus side, I have a wonderful man to look forward to speaking to everyday and all the Grey's Anatomy re-runs I could hope for. It's the little things really ;)
I miss the East Coast of the US. I miss the (warm) sun, the people, the family, the places, the ability to drive myself around, haha.
If only I could afford a car (or a train ticket) and see more of the place I've lived in for the past 15 years, but never actually opened my eyes to see. I won't see it for a long time after this year, I'd love to be able to make the most of it. My bank account unfortunately says no to all kinds of fun this year. Bah.
